What have you been doing post OSA?

Working in sales for a solar financing company

Are there any career highlights that you'd like us to share and celebrate?

Speaking with tons of business owners and learning from peers.

How did attending OSA impact your life and career?

Met great people, great friends, and was able to get into a better school than I maybe should have (joke) due to having an emphasis I could write and talk about.

What does being from Oakland (or the greater Bay Area) mean to you?

Met and spoke with people from ALL walks of life. Know how to empathize with people from all walks of life. The bay area is a great place to grow up in due to how many people from across the nation/world make their way here. The US is the melting pot of the world, but the bay is the melting pot of the US. I do appreciate being able to understand all aspects of peoples lives which I don't believe I would have had the chance to do anywhere else in the world.

What is your fondest memory of being a student at OSA?

Putting on great shows for peers and parents during instrumental performances. I think it is a great learning experience for kids to have a passion they can develop and show off to people. Shows them what hard work can entail and the payoff from it.

Please share which teacher/class at OSA had the greatest impact on you and why?

David Rosenberg. Not sure if he's still working at OSA but he always could relate to students, whether they were doing well or going through something. Always had a positive attitude.
