Since I graduated from Columbia College Chicago in 2017, I have been working as the Studio Manager for Norman Teague Design Studios and as a freelancer/Studio Head for my own practice, DO Designs.
In 2023, I managed and assistant designed a project for Norman Teague Design Studios that represented the U.S. at the Venice Architecture Biennale. Since then we have designed work for the Chicago Architecture Biennial, and I have had my furniture designs featured in two museum exhibitions.
OSA taught me to use my creativity to solve problems and to lead with kindness and respect.
Oakland is a hub for joyful culture and creativity. I cary the excited, resilient energy of the Bay with me through Chicago and abroad.
Throughout my career at OSA, the Visual Arts program helped me develop a muscle for curiosity and the excitement to try new & challenging ways to creatively engage with my ideas. This made it easier to experiment and create with confidence.
