How has your time at Stiles Hall helped shape you to be the leader you are today?

Without Stiles, I would not have had the leadership experience and community centered grounding I needed to do the work I do for the ACLU today.

Please share one of your fondest memories of doing work or building connections as a member of the Stiles Hall community?

I had never been to Massachusetts let alone any of the universities out there. I went for the first time when we took the Berkeley Scholars on a college tour. And we even got a key to the city of Cambridge!

How would you describe the value or importance of Stiles to you and the communities it serves?

Stiles had historic roots on the campus long before I took part, but its influence and impact on those it serves and those who served can never be quantified. The work Stiles does is essential to so many communities within Berkeley and in every locality that alumni of Stiles move on to. I can’t imagine Cal being Cal without Stiles Hall.
